Problems with Gate of Pain
Mysticism - 11 + 1
Earth Prayers - 8
Scythe Mastery - 12 + 1
Mystic Sweep
Eremite's Attack
Reaper's Sweep {E}
Mending Touch
Mystic Vigor
Mystic Regeneration
Conviction
Ressurect
That's the build i've been trying with and so far no luck, it mite be my teams but i still find the survivability hard in this mission. I find with all my enchants up, i have so many afflictions that i have 1 degen. My energy is fine but i need help with this mission and a possible build to use for it. I was gonna use the mirror of ice build but The elite skill 'mirror of Ice' is only capturable at the end of factions, HELP.

i might try that, i also swapped mending hands for purge conditions, coz if i lose my conditions then mystic regen shud kick in and heal me anyway.

There are tons of builds which work, you can search them on the forum. Im not going to debate that so am just gonna browse through your skill list.
First, my honest opinion is that Earth Prayers are overrated when compared to let's say Protection Prayers. Ya, i know a lot of people here will disagree, but i dont care about majority polls. Earth Prayers are OK for fun, but lack the edge that prot prayers give.
That being said, if you come across a mission which is giving you problems, switching to prot prayers (8 attribute is enough, with 15 in mysticism) instead of earth prayers might completely solve your problems; after that you can use whatever you prefer. Yes, Conviction and Mystic regen are great skills, and if some other profession had em, i'd massively use it myself. But when im Dervish, i neglect these and use prot prayers if i need optimal setup. I did use these skills in the beginning but they proved inferior IMO.
Try Chilling Victory, it's overpowered in PvE.
And you really dont need Purge conditions, it's inferior in every way to Mending Touch.
My DMo Juggernaut build makes this mission a piece of cake, but there is no need to use the same build, plenty of others are good. Mark Nevermiss gave you a nice tip; you can use heroes to help you, and just stick with some Dervish build you like. When i played Ranger in this mission, i put Broadhead Arrow on a hero, and he sure used it nicely. Even one hero with interrupt or daze will help, since mostly you run into few enemies, but they have strong spells.

Meh, use Vow of Silence and just solo the Tortureweb and Terrorweb dryders; they do no real damage without casting.
Burning isn't a problem here.... meh

oops.
forgot to reply soz, finished gate of pain ^^ i think it was the team, but i tryed countering the burning with purge conditions and it worked quite well, only problem was the recharge tinme so i only used when i had massive conditions. Thanx all ^_^

Meh, I got masters on Gate of Pain with a similar build to the OP. I think they key to your success is based on the rest of your team. Switching to use VoS, AoM, or Obs Flesh will probably work as well if not better, but your real problem is either your ability to control aggro or the ability/setup of the rest of your team.

Did Gate of Pain with couple friends, me Running Mysticism 16, Scythe 13, Avatar of Balthazar. It worked, not as well as I had hoped, but it worked.

I wud use lyssa. You'll be suprized by the amount of dmg you do to the spiders when they're casting, absolutely insane.

Never a truer word spoken. When my dervish first tried GoP in a full PUG we not only took ages to finish but we had several players on high DP and didn't get masters. What an undisciplined lot. If they weren't over-aggro'ing they were ignoring called targets and just attacking random targets.
Then I went back and did it again, just me and a warrior with 6 assorted heroes (including 2 interrupt rangers) and it was SO easy to finish the mission and get masters - an absolute breeze.
